APRIL 11, 2019 at the Indiana Welcome Center in Hammond (daytime) and Avalon Manor in Merrillville (evening awards dinner).
The 4rd annual World Civility Day is April 11, 2019. World Civility Day is an initiative to encourage individuals to treat others with dignity and respect in all their interactions. Young people from various school districts in Northwest Indiana will be participating.
Individuals and groups from 28 states and countries will also be in attendance.
We are appealing to our business community, elected and those aspiring to be elected leaders, our law enforcement community and anyone bearing the responsibility of being the example to the citizens you have pledged to serve, to support and attend an event such as World Civility Day that has so much importance in everyone’s life. It is not duplicated anywhere else in the country. It is taking place right here in Northwest Indiana. We need you and we need your support. Let’s show the nation that Northwest Indiana is the Civility Capitol of the world.
